I was asked if I had 348 wiring diagrams and unfortunately I've only done the 308 series so far. I did find a 348 Operators Manual, had to 'unlock' the manual as it, as most are password protected against copying. I then extracted the diagram pieces which are, in case of the 348, on 4 different pages for each individual diagram. Placed the 4 pieces carefully into Photoshop and created one large jpeg. Nine drawings resulted and are here, free for the download. I have no plans on 'colorizing' the 348 as they are in quite good shape...whereas the earlier diagrams such as 308's are virtually unuseable from the manuals. http://www.ferrari308gtbi.com/348/348ABSWiringDiagram.JPG http://www.ferrari308gtbi.com/348/348IgnitionWiringDiagram.jpg http://www.ferrari308gtbi.com/348/348WiringDiagramNumbers.jpg http://www.ferrari308gtbi.com/348/348LightsWiringDiagram.jpg http://www.ferrari308gtbi.com/348/348IgnitionWithoutCatalyticConverterDiagram.jpg http://www.ferrari308gtbi.com/348/348WindowsDoorsDomeRadioDiagrams.jpg http://www.ferrari308gtbi.com/348/348AC&EngineCoolingWiringDiagram.jpg http://www.ferrari308gtbi.com/348/348WiperWasherHornsWiringDiagram.jpg http://www.ferrari308gtbi.com/348/348StarterAlternatorWiringDiagram.jpg Incidently, I am almost finished with the 1973 365 GT4 2+2 and have started on the 1980 BB and 1981 BBi diagrams.
Hi Paul, don't know if you have read http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=240072 but I am having dificulty making sence of my 348GTB wiring, doen not match the 348 diagrams Dave Helms has recomended crossing with 355 2.7, 512 & mondial T would you have those diagrams?
Ian, the thread you referenced shows one scary situation...wish I could help but I have no independent knowledge. I do have the 348 Workshop Manual pdf (280Mb) 465 pages which I have unlocked and could upload for you should you not have it. I am posting below a better view of the connector from the Motronic page. Image Unavailable, Please Login
PO had an alarm poorly installed along with Stereo. I am restoring to factory but need wiring schematics
Do you have a 2.5 or 2.7 Motronic ECU? Spider? USA/Canada or ROW? Left/Right hand drive? What year? Where is your battery located? Where are you located? Are you removing an alarm or an immobiliser system? The factory wiring diagrams generally don't show you what the typical stereo installation is like. Sometimes you need more than wiring diagrams to resolve these issues, such as photos of original wiring. Introduce yourself on the 348/355 forum. You'll get more car-specific knowledge there.
Lhd, battery is front drivers side. 94 spider. Car NA and located in the northeast. Thanks for the suggestion. I am an electrical engineer with 35 years hands on restoring cars among other things. Just need the schematics without spending $2500.
So a fairly late model 2.7 Motronic car. Near the left hand rear strut, do you have a circular 9 pin plug which looks like this: Image Unavailable, Please Login Or do you have a 12 pin rectangular plug which looks like this (later cars): Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
That plug is known as "115" and will be seen in numerous important diagrams. Motronic 2.7 diagram here (for a short time only): https://www.dropbox.com/t/YWSqhP9zJuaAuN7B Instrument diagram here, but it's for a Euro car. Not sure what the differences are. https://www.dropbox.com/t/EfUhzQASIJOtISCH It has a late model plug "115". Unfortunately, I don't have a doors and windows diagram for the Spider. It uses a F355 type Window ECU and a special jumper plug on the relay panel (instead of a relay). The diagram, however, does include the OEM radio plug: https://www.dropbox.com/t/yGEgj6VncMIZgGpK Late model battery/alternator diagram with 12 pin "115" plug, but I haven't completely mapped the wiring going through it: https://www.dropbox.com/t/v7K2qgyqJ0jl3I40 I have a few others, but you shouldn't need them. Contact me on the 348/355 forum if you need more info.
You're welcome, Wade, but always ask for the latest version if you have an issue. I'm always updating/improving/correcting them. I have wiring diagrams for other systems (brakes, earlier instruments, lights (Euro/USA), mouse seat belts* (USA/two types), ABS, HVAC, Motronic 2.5 engine, mirrors/window heat, etc. *work in progress
Thank you, I will reach out when I need wiring diagrams. Having the colored conversions are so easy to use. Saves so much time. I am not talented enough or have the skills and knowledge to convert diagrams.

Hi! I need the diagrams. Can you re-upload them? I have an alarm system I want to remove. It's a 1993 348 Spider EU (front battery).
I'm not sure which diagrams you would need. It depends on how the aftermarket alarm is wired into the car. Is it an alarm only or does it immobilise the engine (or starter motor). Does it unlock/lock the doors? Is it wired into the car's horn and turn lights? Would you have a wiring diagram for this model alarm ... or at least a model number?
I don't know the details. We're going to do a first start-up after 20 years! And we want to have the diagrams in case we have any problems, so we can have them handy immediately... obviously, after so many years, we don't have the remote to deactivate/activate the alarm. Tomorrow, I could send a photo of the alarm system installed in the car...
If it has a model number, that would be helpful. If the engine doesn't crank, I would check for volts at the starter solenoid wire. If no voltage, I would work backwards to the ignition key. e.g. there is a circular plug in the engine bay on the left hand side which carries the voltage to the starter. If no voltage there, access the back of the relay panel and check the voltage coming from the key on connector A pin 4 and connector D pin 4. https://www.dropbox.com/t/EUXU1bXnpYiaM0dT Link expires in 6 days. There were some changes made towards the end of production. The circular plug became a more robust rectangular plug. https://www.dropbox.com/t/m7ZYoRYBfnJKgqzf See post #12 https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/149781853/ If there is cranking but no start, it will be a little harder to diagnose. Check that the fuel pumps are operating. The alarm may be inhibiting the pumps. Or the pumps have frozen after so long. Jumper the pump relays (pins 30 and 87). https://www.dropbox.com/t/tlJouKie7pvFzB3h Please let us know how you go.
