    My mind is wandering today.
What single thing has been the funniest, most embarrassing, odd-ball thing you’ve done while driving your Ferrari?

    A couple of mine:
    - McDonald’s drive through and bought solely off the dollar menu.
    - Went grocery shopping and loaded the trunk up with several bags of groceries (this one’s not so bad).
    - Once took all the soda bottles back to the store for return. This got some funny looks as I unloaded the trunk full of empties.

Anyone drive their f-car to the welfare office?
    Unemployment office?
Maybe to a first job interview?
There’s gotta be some funny stories out there.

    Oh yeah, one more.....
Took my car to the wrecking yard once. That was pretty hilarious.

Crap, maybe I'm just ghetto, plain and simple. :(

I couldn't find the button to pop open the gas cap on a 355 I was driving. I had to call Tillman I think, to tell me where it was.

Nah I'm ghetto as hell. I fixed the lower air skirt with a drywall toggle bolt and a can of black Camouflage Krylon paint when I bumped into a parking lot marker once.

    Can't tell. :)

I pulled in for some fuel after idling down A1A for an hour or so. When I shut the engine off I got one or two seconds of dieseling (from the carbon buildup I ould guess) and then a loud backfire! A mexican in a work van getting fuel looked at me and just about fell down laughing.

I spray painted my 348 lower front spoiler with a can of Krylon when I was bored in the middle of the summer a few years ago. I hated the rock chips and wanted them gone. No masking tape, no pulling of the bumper -- just a spray can in the driveway.

That winter, I pulled the bumper and had it properly repainted.

Took my 348 to get washed! Was driving home, through one of the busiest intersections here at around 5 o'clock, So of course a billion cars all around, I was the first car at the light. BAM! Car just died. Would not restart, nothing, dead.

I just sat there in disbelief for 5 minutes praying it would start. It didn't! Had to get out and push!

Parked at the Dollar store to get some cheap gift wrap. Must have looked rather odd.

Stopped to get gas in a 348 challenge (with another f-chatter) and bought scratch-off tickets!

I did that at a non-name gas station. The fellow f-chatter has an orange lambo and I gave him a matching lottery ticket. I wonder what the response would have been to borrow change from the attendant to scratch away. haha...good times

I do most of those things DAILY in my 360! LOL!

The best one though was when I realized I had left my wallet at the office, the 360 was on fumes, had no cash at home so I scrounged up all the nickels and dimes I could find in the house. I barely made it to the gas station down the street and was able to put $2.35 worth of gas in the car. The guy at the register had quite a laugh at the man driving the Ferrari paying for gas with a handful of change. :)

I pulled up to a traffic light one time and my 308 died. The guy behind me started honking for me to go and all I could do was jump out and start pushing.... Thankfully he turned cool and helped me push the car out of traffic...

I drove my Dino gt to downtown LA to buy a piece of colored cardboard to mount up a presentation. I think it was 3 x 4 feet. I put in the car next to the headliner and balanced it on my head as I drove home. True story.

Drove my 308 to a Toyota dealership to apply for a job.
All the salesman were staring at me and my car.

This thread couldn't of come at a better time.

I just returned from visiting a friend of mine in correctional institute in another town. He is serving 6 months for possession and I pull up in a Ferrari at the inmate compound????? DOH!

I swear it didn't even cross my mind..:D:D:D
