Update! Stats and map below... The Argento Nürburgring Enzo in California has always been there - it's just not very visible. So for that one, and the newly added Argento Nürburgring Enzo in Utah, I've given them both a black dot in the center as well as a black outline. Now you can see them (if you look very hard! ) California: 30 Florida: 14 New York: 11 Canada: 11 Texas: 6 Utah: 5 Nevada: 4 Switzerland*: 4 New Jersey: 4 Colorado: 3 Illinois: 2 Ohio: 2 Michigan: 2 Pennsylvania: 1 Connecticut: 2 Virginia: 2 Arizona: 1 Washington: 1 Massachusetts: 1 Louisiana: 1 Georgia: 1 Tennessee: 1 South Carolina: 1 Oregon: 2 Mexico: 1 Dubai, UAE*: 1 Unknown: 15 *These are US cars that have, for some reason in some way, made their way to foreign countries. It left the factory as Rossa Corsa / Tan, now it's Nero / Tan. The original owner re-painted it within the first (3) years of ownership. So, the car has been registered as a "Black GTSi" several times, but FNA and Maranello records still have it recorded as "Rossa Corsa". But, I must insist that you please tell me how you got the Boulder, Colorado location --- not that it was a State secret, but I don't know of too many resources that would have had that info. Or, are you simply connecting "dots" ---- a certain serial number is owned by so and so, and an internet search tells you that same so and so has an address in wherever??
BTW, the latest iteration of your map is still missing the second red dot in Portland......................there are (2) --- I promise
Is anyone else as shocked as me by the (5) dots in Utah?! -------- That is truly unexpected! And, granted there are some still MIA ---- but, I can't believe there isn't (at least) one in the Kansas City area, either......
I hate to suck the magic out of all of this, but on 9 March 2008, you posted that you own 35773; at the time, your location in your profile was listed as Boulder. I wish that I could say that I obtained this information through some arcane Ouija ritual whereby I sacrificed a carbon ceramic brake disc in the name of Enzo and the information appeared to me, on the ground, via a leaky gearbox. But alas, I just saw the post and recorded it. Can anyone get Ron Tonkin to register here and post and confirm this...? Can someone get him to call me...?
Thank you...! I would like to see additional information concerning the validity of this claim, but I've added it to the map anyway, because the information that I have concerning the dealer through this car was delivered supports your statement. Thank you very much for this information. I have a discrepancy with two other Enzos concerning Mexican plates; perhaps you can help. Can you confirm that plates: 8-YN-69 are on 134284 or 128809...? Also, 134284 is owned by R.V.S., yes...?
Here is a color coded graph, the light blues are what I didn't have info for. Thanks for your help Carb! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here is Tonkin's Enzo on Oregon dealer plates: http://www.flickr.com/photos/36693033@N06/3426528857/sizes/l/ I posted this earlier, does this not prove its an Oregon Enzo?
Nope, that'll do it...! Not sure how I missed that before, thank you. Here's an update. S BRAKE, great graph, thank you...! California: 30 Florida: 14 New York: 11 Canada: 11 Texas: 6 Utah: 5 Nevada: 4 Switzerland*: 4 New Jersey: 4 Colorado: 3 Illinois: 2 Ohio: 2 Michigan: 2 Pennsylvania: 1 Connecticut: 2 Virginia: 2 Arizona: 1 Washington: 1 Massachusetts: 1 Louisiana: 1 Georgia: 1 Tennessee: 1 South Carolina: 1 Oregon: 3 Mexico: 2 Dubai, UAE*: 1 Unknown: 13 *These are US cars that have, for some reason in some way, made their way to foreign countries. Alas, I am disappointed.........I was hoping for something a bit more mysterious (or even nefarious) Still, kudos on your resourcefulness, and shame on my ever-feebling memory...
I try to keep my flagitious behavior to a minimum these days - I've seen the FBI in action. I knew my answer would kill the mystery - sorry. I have the date of production for your car (2/81) and a search for 35773 yields nothing (except this thread), so I'm guessing your post contained a picture of your car's data plate on the door jamb, showing both the serial number/VIN and the date of production. Care to share the current mileage...?
8-YN-69 plates are in the Mexican Enzo that is in Miami, it belongs to Jose Romero, no vin sorry, but my guess is that this car is the 128809, and the 134284 is the Enzo of R.V, according to the enzoregister
Carbon, are the dots on the map relatively accurate? Does this mean there is an Enzo in Pensacola, Florida, or did you run out of room? Dale
NNO: Don't forget about the New Mexico Enzo I showed you. You saw it and replied to my comment but I think you forgot to add it to the map.
I'm hesitant to rely on the Enzo register, even though its contributors and caretaker(s) have done an amazing job. I must be patient and await empirical data. Dale... There are some dots that are accurate - or as accurate as possible. Like Virginia. Many of the dots in California, Canada and New York are inaccurate, because of either a lack of room or a lack of exact location. I have two Enzos currently in Mexico - is there a third...? The two that I have are R.V.S.'s and Jose Romero's. Do you know of another...? Operation: NANNOS continues with another update. I've removed the red Enzo from VA and added it to NY. Stats updated as well... California: 30 Florida: 14 New York: 12 Canada: 11 Texas: 6 Utah: 5 Nevada: 4 Switzerland*: 4 New Jersey: 4 Colorado: 3 Illinois: 2 Ohio: 2 Michigan: 2 Pennsylvania: 1 Connecticut: 2 Virginia: 1 Arizona: 1 Washington: 1 Massachusetts: 1 Louisiana: 1 Georgia: 1 Tennessee: 1 South Carolina: 1 Oregon: 3 Mexico: 2 Dubai, UAE*: 1 Unknown: 13 *These are US cars that have, for some reason in some way, made their way to foreign countries. He said there was one in New Mexico. Also, your data still shows there being two in CT when there are four.
Oh...! Neeew Mexico...! LOL...! Updated...!!! California: 30 Florida: 14 New York: 12 Canada: 11 Texas: 6 Utah: 5 Nevada: 4 Switzerland*: 4 New Jersey: 4 Connecticut: 4 Colorado: 3 Illinois: 2 Ohio: 2 Michigan: 2 Pennsylvania: 1 Virginia: 1 Arizona: 1 Washington: 1 Massachusetts: 1 Louisiana: 1 Georgia: 1 Tennessee: 1 South Carolina: 1 Oregon: 3 Mexico: 2 Dubai, UAE*: 1 Unknown: 10 *These are US cars that have, for some reason in some way, made their way to foreign countries. Wait a minute. KC? Who do you think may have one? I would hope I would know if there is one....I know of two people who considered purchasing but never did.
Not to be picky, but the Alberta ones don't seem to be correct. The yellow Enzo resides here in Calgary, along with at least one red one, and one black one. Pics: http://www.zrauto.ca/images/shop/IMG_0013.jpg http://www.zrauto.ca/images/shop/IMG_0022.jpg And I promise that the black one that Prancing 34 was talking about earlier has Alberta plates on it. I've seen the non-blurred photo, I just can't find it anywhere. Hope I helped a little.
According to that map, a black Enzo resides in Grande Prairie I have heard that the gent who owns the red Enzo pictured there also owns another red car that he keeps as a garage queen. There are 4-5 Enzos in Calgary, AB.
