Very good, I just uploaded a bunch of photos to my website. Also included a few from the Sunday Rally.. The Richard Petty Track event was pretty cool.. http://ferrari.ms/fgcel09/images/index.htm
Looks like a good time. I couldn't make it as I was in Miami for the runway event. I got 179mph by myself. I did not notice any difference between running with the top down or up. I hit 173mph with a passenger. However, I did have a good amount of gas. I think to reach it's 193mph top speed you would need a slight downslope, tailwind and low gas.
i see myself.... http://ferrarichat.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=919928&stc=1&d=1240091595 in front of the woman with the hand bag
I noticed there are none from Friday night? I hope I didn't just miss the Friday thread?? If so i'll move them! I only took a few photo's this year on Friday, I can upload a few rally pics on Sunday if wanted, but I think Saturday show seems pretty well covered!! Turns out I cannot delete old attachments from my account (anyone know why?) so as it is full I cannot post images, just the links... well I hope someone likes them
The show was held in Celebration just south of Orlando. It is really a suburb of Orlando. It is a great show with two days of track at Sebring, the Jet Port reception on friday night, the show and Gala dinner on saturday and then it has a rally on sunday. The main reason for the event is: it is a fund raiser for the " make a wish" foundation. Every penny, nickle, dime and dollar goes to the charity. There are no paid administrators or workers. Everyone is a volenteer. It is a great show and event. It draws 30 to 40 thousand spectators and the venue is supurb. Try not to miss it next year.
Great pics - fun event! I didn't make it there this year as I usually do. I had a conflict with an autocross I was putting on. One of my friends brought the Jaguar XJ220 though, as usual.
