During the Bahrain GP today, I thought I saw a Star of David on Rubens' helmet.

    1) was I imagining things or was it really there?
    2) Has it always been there or was it just a subtle thumb in the eye of his Muslim hosts?

He's had it there most of this season, maybe not in race one. Have no idea why, but it had nothing to do with this race specifically.

I just saw a photo of him walking around in his street clothes and he was wearing a star of david around his neck too? Huh? Did he convert to Judiasm?

They are on several of the driver's helmets. I think it may be a brand of some sort.

It's possible, as we all know there is a big Jewish community in the southern region of South America.

That really wasn't my intent in starting this thread. I was more curious if he was just trying to slip one by the Muslim crowd in Bahrain. Sort of covert support for Israel.

He is known to honour people he has respected in the past, maybe it's a tribute to a friend?

    Or he has converted...

To answer the question. Well lets wait till Spain. If it was to stick it only to the hosts, he won't have it on display for the European races.

On the contrary, many of Einstein's theories could not be proven when originally posited without advanced technological instruments that the scientific community now has access to, and are now used to prove the bulk of Einstein's work...I'd guess that many scientists back then used faith in the proven validity of Einstein's early works as an implement of trust predicated upon the success of his earlier and proven works, and used that faith in his work as a bridge of faith to continue to where we are today.

Faith works both ways. Faith predicated upon fact or faith predicated upon fiction.

    Choose your side.
