I was thinking it could be repaired somewhat easily as well going off the pictures. The fire damage is minimal and there is a dent in the fender. It can be salvaged fairly easily

I know this car and have seen it personally. It happened in San Diego so I am surprised to see the car being sold in Sacramento. Allegedly the car was bought without a PPI and was being driven by the new owner. A gas line was frayed behind the driver's head and ignited off the headers. Before the driver could pull over, the damage was pretty severe and he was burned quite badly. The side is pretty dinged up from scraping against the guard rail in the panic stop. I lost track of the car. There was going to be an investigation and possibly some litigation. While there appears to be limited damage, it is pretty extensive over the small area is covers and probably would entail a much larger repair than it seemed. I really surprised a shop did not pick up the car and just fix it at their cost for resale. Seems more logical than offering it to the public to fix.

That's interesting. I wonder if this is the c-clamp screw grinding through one of the fuel lines at the very top front of the engine. I've checked mine, and it's OK.

Reading the ad about how easy it would be to put it back together, and how they can supply all the parts etc... Makes me wonder if it is so easy, why don't they just do it and sell it for more... The answer is most likely, they know it isn't going to be that simple...

Cuz Ferrparts is a parts house, not a repair shop... I suppose thats why they're not called Ferrfix!
    And they rock too! :D

Hmmm, had it been a Berlinetta, I would have considered it ... convert it to a track toy :)

Darn things are so lovely on the track!
