    Aren't you missing the comment about Lambo's lack of racing heritage? Usually that is thrown in, which always makes me laugh. It makes me laugh even more after comparing F1 (where Ferrari trip over their own shoelaces) and LeMans (where Audi rules).

    Resale values of Ferraris are now acting just like Lambos and Porsche. The old days of no depreciation are gone.

    The other weekend when I was worrying about parking my 355 in the sun for fear of returning to a car filled with leather potato chips, I was wishing for my Audi interior.

    The Ferraris do have more trunk space. Can you get 2 small suitcases and a laptop in a 560? I really want to be able to go away for a weekend with my lady.

    Yes unfortunately Ferrari is making way more cars than they used to. Yes my 355 had slight peeling on the dash from sun exposure...which is pretty sad considering the only time it saw the sun was when I was driving it.

    Why are you so defensive about the 560/4? It's the best machine that Audi ever produced, and by a long shot. Are you defensive because Lamborghini has nothing in its history other than tractors and toasters? One of the greatest peaks of auto competition is Formula One. You Lambo knobs hate it when others bring this to your attention because a joint Chryco/Lambo product fell flat on its face in F1 and was the running joke in nearly every race it entered. Lambo in all its years has NOTHING TO SHOW IN COMPETITIVE RACING. Ferrari has the biggest records in WDC and WCC in one of the most competitive sports on the planet. Lamborghini has an empty trophy display case.

    So yeah, heritage means something to Ferrari fans, because we have something to base our love upon. 50+ years of record breaking results in F1 versus 0 years and 0 days for the Lamborghini types. At least Ferrari's are still designed and built in Maranello. Your precious little overpriced Lamborghini's aren't designed nor manufactured anywhere near the comical "birthplace" of Lamborghini. "Assembled" in Italy isn't the same as "born" in Italy and that's the reason why Lambo 560/4's can be traded for 34 rolls of toilet paper and a bad stock tip.

    Lamborghini's are a bad joke on the sportscar world, and this is why they can be had in Vibrant Kermit The Frog Green, Banana Up the Butt Yellow and any shade of Prison Pudge Facking Grey.

    You Lambo types have ******s like Dildoni Balboni, Allan Lambo and Roy Cats.

    Ferrari has names like Ascari, Fangio, Hawthorn, Surtees, Lauda, Scheckter, Schumacher and Raikkonen. Not to mention Brawn, Byrne and Todt.

    Further, take a look at Ferrari's CV:

    * Most constructor championships: 16
    * Most driver championships: 15
    * Most Grands Prix started (all-time): 780
    * Most wins (all-time): 209[1]
    * Most wins (season): 15 (shared with McLaren)
    * Most podiums (all-time): 622
    * Most podiums (season): 29
    * Most one-two finishes (all-time): 79
    * Most pole positions (all-time): 203
    * Most points (all-time): 4,928.27
    * Most points (season): 262
    * Most fastest laps (all-time): 218
    * Highest winning percentage: ~26% (for teams with at least 10 wins)

    See all them fancy numbers? Write in Lamborghini and then 0 for anything in the record field. When a person buys a Ferrari, it comes from Maranello, designed and built, mostly.

    The Gallardo is an Audi. The bagged 2+2 Estoque (******bags...no one at Lambo would EVER NAME A LAMBO AN ESTOQUE for Christ's sakes]) is a Porsche Panamera in bad drag. I'm just waiting to see what Audi product the replacement for the Murci will be built upon.

    Lamborgini should just rename themselves as Kotex and get it over with.

    :D

    Well I will agree that Ferrari has great marketing, and that whole mystic thing is what half the owners look for. When I finnaly got past that I relized that Ferrari's a great cars, but they have their faults, just like Lambo's and Porsche's, so after now 128 cars (just bought the wife a Maser GT), I realized I need to turn these cars into what I want them to be, so I did. My 997S, cost more (mods included) than I paid for my 430, but it is a better drivers car for me. The 04 Gallardo I bought is still a work in progress, but the awd is gone and so far so is 250lbs of weight. I could care less what badge is on the car, or whether there is a heritage (you can not drive heritage), I care if the car feels right for me. Find me a RWD LP560, I'd love to drive it.

    It's funny how some go nuts any time any other brand is praised other than Ferrari and the racing numbers come out. Last I looked NONE of the cars we're talking about were meant for the track. Lamborghini's entire focus has been on building terrific performing road cars, capable of blowing the doors off other street cars while remaining safe under a wide variety of road surfaces and conditions. Arguing about race results is as stupid as arguing that Saab is great because they make jets. Get over it. Each brand will leapfrog each other from time to time as two competing brands should and we as consumers benefit. They day we stop comparing brands and start praying to one brand god, we stop seeing innovation.

    Wow, looks like Korr is a little butt hurt. If you compare apples to apples on road cars, Lambos have some serious advantages, especially when you look at maintenance and reliability. Either way, grow up kid...

    Sorry Korr, but that is a pretty douchy response to a thread in the LAMBORGHINI section inquiring about the overall speed of the LP560-4. You are probably right in that we should all bow down to the greatness that is Ferrari, sell all of our wordly possessions in order to own one, or simply give up driving all together if we cannot afford one because we are not worthy of sharing the road with the pieces of rolling art donning the Prancing Horse. Talk about someone who seriously drank the koolaid...

    My my, such venom! Very impressive statistics indeed, and well done Ferrari. Might I point out that while Ferrari has been making a DISMAL showing in it's F1 efforts this year, a Lamborghini Murcielago LP-640 GT1 car won it's class at the LMS race at Catalunya this year against rather stiff competition. I also seem to remember quite a few Gallardos virtually dominating (let me repeat that.......DOMINATING) several GT races in Europe last year while going head to head with a slew of other manufacturers, including the Ferrari F430. I love Ferrari, and I also love Lamborghini. But one thing that bores me the hell out of me is a marque snob from any camp.

    I'll drive an F430 if I want, and I'll drive a Gallardo LP-560/4 if it pleases me. And your opinion "sir" will not matter a jot.

    You know my response to these kind of postings,
    Ferrari and
    Lamborghini--

    It's blonds and brunettes
    I prefer both with a leaning towards brunettes. I'll give you guess which car I think is the brunette!!!

    Yea, it's like arguing about color. Yet, even then someone will pull out the heritage card. I'm of French heritage. That sure doesn't mean I can cook.

    i'm just glad attitudes like yours don't represent the majority of ferrari owners. such sniveling upturned nose pomposity only does the brand a disservice, IMO...

    Yep. Ferrari have had off years, including the 19 off years between championships. Overall, they have the most wins in F1 and the most records in F1 versus everyone else. The truth is that Lamborghini have nothing to show at the top end of racing *ever*. Sure, traffic cone racing in a parking lot is neat, but it's still cone racing in a parking lot. Hehe. :) Beyond that the Lambo factory hasn't footed the bill for a full on race package in...forever. So your cute little meaningless races are just that: cute and meaningless. You guys have your little spandex hotpants and your loud colors because that's Lamborghini's target market. Men in spandex drag racing. LOLOL. Kermit Green or Pearlescent White Repainted Diablos or Brash Tangermanginaine...LOL.

    The end of the day, Lamborghini is the transvestite car company of they day...re-badged Audi's sold as what you want them to be and not what they are.

    Or you and Allan Lambo's ass. Are you a jerk, or do you go for one when he's around, while hiding in his closet? Just my opinion, imo.

    It's amazing how many L-Powah users and mods are here. I have to wonder who is feeding whom IP addies. Just wondering.

    Ok, it is now time to set the records straight. It is true that Ferrari has an outstanding racing history. Ferrari makes an outstanding automobile and is a ball to drive. However, when someone puts Ferraris' racing record up against Lamborghini,there are a number of reasons why Lamborghini is not competitive in that catagory. First of all, if it was not for Enzo Ferrari, there would not have been an Lamborghini automobile. Thank you Enzo. I will try to make this short. When Furuccio Lamborghini went to Enzo
    to make a complaint as to how his new Ferrari could be a better road car Enzo said " You make the tractors. I'll make the cars" or something similar to that. Lamborghini thought " I can build a better road car". Remenber, Ferrari built road cars to support his racing programs. Lamborghini just wanted a car he could drive that was a little more driver friendly. So, he formed automobili Lamborghini and the rest.as they say, is history! What I am leading up to is: In the original articles of corporation Furuccio stated clearly that Lamborghini would never build a race car. So if you wonder why Lamborghini was not involved in racing, now you know. By the way, up until 2004 Lamborghini never built more than 200 cars a year.

    Next let's talk about the new LP-560. Valentino Balboni told me the cars mechanicals have been changed with about 60 percent of them being totaly new. He should know. I have personally had this car on the track at Daytona. It is the most outstanding Lamborghini ever built. The car is perfectly balanced and the handling is extrordinary. The car builds so much low end torque it is like an old Hemi Cuda leaving the line. While with a Ferrari you must get up into the four thousand range to start getting the maximum performance, the LP-560 is already way ahead. The Ferrari does have a slight weight advantage and it does what it is supposed to do magnificiently. It is a great car but, if you have the chance to drive a 430 and immediately step into the LP-560 you will find the Lambo is a brute force, supurb handling ,yet driver friendly car to drive. The Ferrari, to me, seems am little mundane. The lambo is also a much better looking car. Interestingly, the car was designed with every line and air vent to maximize downforce and cooling. It came out as a beautiful, functionly combined car that, if you have to, will far exceed your expectations of what a "supercar" should be.
    Both cars are great for what they are but if you like an adrenylin rush the Lambo LP-560 is the one to own.

    Yea, when the name calling starts, it means the argument has been lost by the caller. I just ignore his posts as I think he's just a kid with time on his hands and nothing better to do. If he was a real car guy active in the car community he'd have friends in all camps and respect them for their choices. Too many other more informative posts to read. It's nice though to learn that my old Ford Excursion was great because of NASCAR wins. Woopeee!!! Now, I'll FINALLY sleep better knowing the secret to why I liked the way it drove.
