348 Wrecked?

The wife was coming back from Monterey today (Thursday) around 5:00pm and saw a black 348 being trailered and pulled by a white duelly, pulling out of Laguna Seca raceway on to highway 68. She said the entire right side of the car was smashed in along with the rear corner and front headlight area. She said it looked like it had hit a guardrail and slid along it to create the extensive damage is was showing. Also she said she thought it had the number 7 in black in a white circle on the rear quarter panel.

Anyone know who's it was?
