Well not exactly. But because I drive my 328 all the time and haven't been keeping up with the interior detailing, we'll say the seats and interior have gotten a "little dirty". I was honestly just putting off having the entire interior redone. But my brother-in-law talked me into taking the seats out and trying to give them a good scrub. So I pulled the passenger side out last night and after 4 hrs of serious elbow grease and what can only be described as "juice from the gods" (meguires leather cleaner/conditioner) I now have new seats. I must have called my wife over 10 times to see the difference and she was very patient every time saying, "wow! thats amazing!" LOL

+1 on your wife's comments. I may have to try me some of that stuff on the 328 seats.

    Good work Drew.

    Your seat looks fantastic.
I'm also working and cleaning my interior and I know what the "elbow grease" is... I use Leatherique products and they work fine. My driver seat was a little bit damaged so I decided to bring it to a specialist -sew some parts and fill some cracks-. I will finish the job with a complete redye, also on the panel doors and center console. More work...

I've put on about 15k and I usually roll around in the mud then hop in the car... ;) I really don't know how they got so dirty, it just happened over time.

The process i did was completely different then they recommend. They say to put a little bit on a cloth and then rub it in and rub it off. Instead, i poured a crazy amount of the miracle juice on and then spread it around with a toothbrush like a paintbrush. Let it sit for about 3-5min then scrub it off with a sponge. Worked like a charm!

Yes a great job. What a difference. Now that they are clean is should be easy to keep them that way. Myself, I remove the seats twice a year (I can take them both out in less than 15 minutes) as it makes it easier to soap and condition them. Its also easier to work on the sides on the center consol. I put about 5,000 - 6,000 miles a year on the car and the seat/interior stay in good shape.

Drew, are you a chimney sweep? Use your 328 as a work truck?

That's hilarious. I couldn't figure out how to ask that delicately. I considered, "So why don't the mud wrestlers get their OWN transporation?"

I know, I really have no idea how they got so dirty? It sort of happened over time and I didn't notice. Then all of a sudden my wife wouldn't want to get in the car for fear of getting her white pants dirty. I thought, "uh oh, time to clean em up!"

Now I need to finish up, fix my front wheel bearing and my little 328 work horse will be ready to clean more chimneys!

How wonderful it looks and what an understanding girl friend you have. My girl friend who is from Finland said after I did my interior and converted my seats to Daytona style, "There is more red color inside now" That’s was it!!!! but I still love her ;-)
