    1951. 1st Formula 1 win. Jose Froilan Gonzalez took that first win in the Ferrari 375, at the former RAAF bomber base of Silverstone, that only a decade before had launched bombers towards Italy. At the next race, Villoresi and Alberto Ascari would score the first Ferrari 1-2 finish, at Ferrari's own stadium, the Autodromo Nazionale Monza.

    166 Spyder Corsa chassis 010 I

    By early 1948, Ferrari had further developed their race-winning Tipo 125 and 159's into the even more impressive 166 Sport and Spyder Corsa's, both of which featured two-litre Colombo engines. The little cycle-winged Spyder Corsa's became the definitive long wheelbase 166 competition cars as their successors, Ferrari's 166 Mille Miglia's, used a chassis with a much shorter wheelbase. Two of the eight 166 Spyder Corsa's (010 I and 020 I) were originally completed as Tipo 125's prior to being re-manufactured by Ferrari and given new chassis identities in recognition of the changes made.

    $11 million: Ferrari nets record price
    1961 Ferrari convertible sells for the highest recorded price ever paid at a car at auction.

    A 1961 Ferrari California Spyder sold for $10,894,900 at an auction in Maranello, Italy, Saturday. It was the highest price ever paid for a vintage car at auction, according to RM Auctions and Sotheby's, the companies that organized the sale.

    In the 2002 F1 season, Ferrari won 15 out of 17 races with their F2002 car
    11 by Micheal Schumacher, 4 by Rubens Barrichello

    Only 2 races were 'lost':
    Malaysian grand prix was won by Ralf Schumacher (BMW-Williams)
    Monaco grand prix was won by David Coulthard (McLaren-Mercedes)

    M.Schumacher did however end up on the podium on those 2 races:
    Malaysian grand prix: M.Schumacher 3rd
    Monaco grand prix: M. Schumacher 2nd
