    Hey guys,

It's that time of the month again. Despite the cold 35 degree day we had at the beggining of April, the Minneapolis folks showed up by the truckloads (Literally). We had another 200+ car attendance and the month of May promises to have better weather and more fun for all involved. Our event is from 8am-11am. We will be leaving at 11am sharp to go check out Imola Motorsports's new location in Golden Valley. There will be food and drink at the event as well.

    Location:
The location is the Minneapolis AutoMotorplex located at:
1740 Motorplex Ct. Chanhassen MN (About 10 minutes away from the old location)
Please check out the Motorplex’s website for map and other details: http://www.automotorplex.com/
For people traveling east of 494 we would encourage you to take the Crosstown (62) extension (HWY 5) the where it becomes 212, exit on Powers Blvd (Which is 1 exit past 101) go right, drive approx 500 ft and turn left on Lyman (at the light) travel approximately 1 mile, turn right on Audubon and we will be 1.1 mile on the left.

Please mark your calendars with the following dates:

    June 6th
    July 4th
    August 1st
    September 5th
    October 3rd

I need a head/car count on who is coming with us to Imola afterwards. I can get about 10 cars inside for a cool photoshoot. I just talked with Kevin and he has food for 500 people!!!!!

By far the best C & C so far. Lots of good representation of the Marques. The wife was dissapointed she didn't make it (bad cold!) Looking forward to June. However what happened to all the Mini Coopers! didn't see any this time. I know the wife wants to bring her Mini S but doesn't what to be the only one at the dance!

Nice to see one of the better showing of Ferraris this time. Only 2 Lambos thought time. Only saw the second one on my way out as i had to leave a little early.

Looking forward to photos! Great meeting some folks this time.

A great time was had by all. I'm sorry your lady couldn't make it. I spent so much time catching up and meeting new folks that the camera never came out of my pocket.

What a great day! Looks like we have outgrown yet another location.

Thanks to all of you that made it out. I lost count at around 350 cars, but I know there were many more there.

Imola was great afterwards, thanks to Kevin and Jody for making that happen!

Stay tuned for a thread on our June 6th event!

That was insane! But it is such a perfect location, I hope we can manage to stay there!

Too bad about those two cops that ruined some of the fun...

What a great day! I always read FChat but rarely post. This is where I learned about Cars & Coffee, and being from Woodbury I never get over to Chanhassen. My dad and I both took our Vettes -- he has a red '73 convertible and I have a '94 admiral blue coupe -- and we'll be back again.

I was very impressed with the class of the MotorPlex facility. Some of those garages are truly amazing!

Just wanted to say that the 308 in that picture is not mine. It was owned by a guy named Bill who has owned it since '87. It has around 29,000 miles on it and is in nice shape. It had been repainted but they did a good job. It's an '84 and Bill recently put a Tubi exhaust system in it.

Thanks! It's been a fun car to own, just under 44K on the clock, and my wife even loves it.

At one of these events I'll have to meet some of the F-car owners on this site - you had some very nice cars out yesterday.

I guess I should have mentioned this however at the time I took the picture I hadn't met the owner.

Paul has a nice red 85 GTS QV that was parked a few cars to the left. :D

Another Woodbury resident! Didn't make it over there yesterday but heard the numbers of cars are growing rapidly. Will try to get over there next month. Battery was dead on mine today so working out that issue first.

Yeah, I heard one down the road towards HWY 5. I assume it was one of us lol. It was like 10-15 min. before the corvette left in his huge smokey burnout.
