Spanish GP: Qualifying ***Spoiler***

Actually, Massa might be in the best position for the start. He's the only one with KERS, and at the last few races we've seen the advantage of pushing that button when the lights turn green...

 

Couldn't have a nicer bunch of guys at the front IMO.

 

A shocking desicion again by Ferrari in quali 1, but Massa did well to get 4th.

 

It seems it was Kimi's decision not to go out again, if the TV guys have the correct information.

 

Great to see Massa near the top. As someone else said, with KERS he could be looking good for the start. Although, the others at the front seem to be very light on fuel so even if he does get past, who knows how long he would be able to hold them off. As for Kimi, I would really like some actual explanation as to who made the call to keep him in a garage.

Edit: If it really was Kimi's decision, then I think it shows he couldn't care less and should be fired. If it was a team decision, whoever made that mistake again should be "reassigned" back to the factory.

 

Yeah will be interesting! KERS could be what breaks the Pole curse!

He is the factor that will make a usual boring Spainish GP exciting

we'll see tomorrow if the new regs undo the spanish snorefest. As for the starting grid.. i think its going to be exciting.. brawn's got the diffuser but no kers, red bulls doesnt have both and ferrari.. has kers(hopefully it doesnt break down) and a.. hole in the difusser...

Well apparently according to the BBC Ferrari had calculated not to go out because a 1:21:2 was enough to get through. But Kimi wasn't keen on going out either.

 

That was what was in my thoughts exactly.

 

Well things are back to normal for Ferrari. Car is good, management poor.

 

+1....if Massa gets a good start, he could be in the catbird seat. Actually Jensen just mentioned that in the press conference also. We could potentially see KERS result in a race win tomorrow.

Clearly the car has improved so kudos to Ferrari-but whoever made the decision to keep kimi in needs to play with a kers unit in a rainstorm.....

 

massa and alonso only ones with KERS in top 10, and alonso is 8th. hopefully massa makes an epic start and stays on podium!

The decision was agreed between Kimi and the two engineers, Dwyer and the other chap.

 

You know there's another thing called luck and Kimi is VERY unlucky, I don't think he has lost any motivation.

Renault isn't using kers, neither is Bmw.

Only Ferrari and mclaren this w.end with kers.
