Turn 12 is tricky, and I'm not sure if I was handling it particularly well either!!

As Nigel Mansell would say: "It gets your attention!".

Here are a few of mine from Atlanta. My original intentions for making the trek from Connecticut to Georgia were the F430 and Historic Challenges. When I heard the Historics weren't going to make it I was bummed (I'll get them at Road America in June), however the FXX contingent more than made up for it. The teams and drivers were incredibly approachable and like others I loved hearing Italian being spoken in the garages. Here are just a few of my photos of RTB's FXX.

I also heard him say: "when it jumps from sixth to first, I am afraid it does damage". Talking about the new semi-automatic gearbox in his 1991 Williams. Gotta love the Brit way of putting it!

Great pictures guys (and indeed a lovely lady. She is a keeper!).

Would the FXX really be faster in the straight than a R15???

Rik, if everything works out, I get to meet you and Carol next sunday at Spa. Looking forward to it!

My goodness, the black one with the italy flag looks awesome. The rest looks as if they came out of a lego factory.

By the way. I just came up with a question of my own.
Perhaps RTB is willing to answer this one or any other FXX driver who's reading this. How is it to drive the new car using the 3 rear view camera's? Does it feel good? Or I mean, does it feel real and do you see depth at all?

I see some of you FXX-testdrivers are using normal Enzo mirrors and some are still driving there FXX with a single camera. So basically there are different ways of checking what's behind or next to you.
Guess you guys also test the camera's. They might be standard or an option on future Ferrari's, right?

I believe I overheard RTB mention at Road Atlanta or some other driver that it is just a driver's preference. Some drivers prefer the mirrors rather than the rear view cameras. There is some in car footage that you can pull up on youtube that shows the display of the rearview camera around a circuit, and I must say, its pretty darn good. As far as being an option on future Ferraris', I dont think that will happen due to laws in different countries. Plus what happens when the camera dont function right.

The three rearview cameras are definately an improvement on the single roof-mounted camera!

    I'll secomd that, congrats

With the FIA budget for 2010 and the restrictions on associated programs (that could be considered as data collecting or testing). Will have an impact on the FXX programs future, or will MadMax have his spies keeping a close eye on you
