    The Enzo features a 6.0-liter, V-12 engine

Despite stripping away many of the comforts associated with luxury cars (the Enzo has no radio), the Enzo is not the lightest car in the world. Its curb weight of 3,009 pounds (1,365 kg) gives it a power-to-weight ratio of 4.56 pounds per horsepower (or .219 horsepower per pound).

    360 Modena Chassis and body

If the styling and aerodynamics are deemed to be big changes, The chassis and body dimensions in the 360 Modena has grown from the F355. The length increases a massive 227mm, wheelbase jumps by 150mm to 2600mm which eclipses even the 550 Maranello's 2500mm. Height has grown by 44mm to benefit head room. The width has been reduced by 22mm to the still respectable 1922mm. Despite of the growth in wheelbase, the larger proportion of the extra length has been invested in the overhangs in order to accommodate the radiators and diffuser. The 360 is not only a replacement of the small Ferrari, but also fills the vacuum left by the mid-engined flagship Testarossa / 512TR / F512M.

The first F40 LM, chassis 79890, was completed in October 1988, Ferrari's test driver Dario Benuzzi shaking the prototype down that month around Fiorano. Benuzzi begun an intensive development programme that saw several top drivers contribute to its fine tuning, over 30,000km being racked up by 79890 including a 229mph (367km/h) run at the Nardo speed bowl in February 1989.
