Ugly is subjective I will not address that other than to say I couldnt disagree more.

Otherwise, I am going to guess not only that you have never been in a CCX, but also you have never spoken to anyone that has been in a CCX.

A gentleman in the town where I live happens to own one. He drives it to Home Depot. Other than being a bit difficult to get in and out, it drives like any other car.

Koenigsegg sure knows how to pick 'em. The guy who owned Exotic scammed in FLA then scurried off to Vegas and blew out including a big legal bru ha ha with Koenigsegg. Now Universal is in hot water with the DA for corporate espionage. Sure does wonders for their image. ;)

    The 430S sounds better.

i agree that these two should not be compared... i was just impressed and i really like the wild mean looks of the egg... Sorry i did not know i was going to stirr so many of your feelings,,, but hey! remember... It is not a Ferrari :)

I still love my 360 spider...

and 806 hp do not impress me as you think coz we can always opt for the 1600hp Supra ... i just liked the way they were placed... it looks nice men!
hmmm--- still love more my 360 spider! specially after i researched the price ...
    :)

    take care

Don't be offended. This is a group of die hard Ferrari fans, and they close ranks quickly.

The relative performance, in pure speed, was impressive. I don't care what car it smoked, it's fast. I can appreciate a fine piece of work that is also incredibly fast and absolutely beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

I saw one of these this morning on HWY17 on my way in to work... looked and sounded awesome.
It was in SVAG a few weeks ago, under covers in the showroom i think.

Look on the bright side, they could have a go against a ZR1.. It too would leave the Scudaria (just take a bit longer).
If you buy a car for ego as with hooking up with a woman, the results (I am afraid to say) will most likely be less than
rewarding. A Ferrari is not a Corvette or Koeningsegg and the price range from $120,000 $1 million might also be a factor
    to consider. Best

Either nothing can be compared or everything can be compared. Those who think everyone agrees that "their car" is the best is delusional. I "chose" a (regular) 430 over a Scudaria for many reasons. Others "worship" the Scuderia. Even those who can afford a Ferrari may not be able to afford much more and money matters. On the hand for those who want "fast" a ZR1 can be had for much less than a Scuderia. Best

Did anyone really expect a different outcome? The Koenigsegg is one of the fastest cars in the world with respect to linear acceleration..

Sure the Koenigsegg is very fast, and surprise surprise it smoked the Scud. That is like putting an 84 GTO up against a 328 for comparison. Interesting but no surprise.

Now what about the Koenigsegg going up against a Veyron? That would be interesting.

I still think the Scud would be much more fun on a twisty than the Koenigsegg IMO.

I dont think the 'egg stands a chance against the Veyron. The Veyron is king of the hill in acceleration.
(I believe the 0-60mph is 2.5 secs, not to mention almost +200HP difference between the two)

200 hp and 1600 lbs. I bet from 60-180 it would be very interesting.
