He received the mufflers shown in the pictures below - with obvious shoddy workmanship. When shown the photos, they agreed to take them back initially. They then recanted with this email message to the FChat member: "We have pulled some of the dual inlet and outlet mufflers from Magna Flow. All the dual inlet/outlet mufflers have the crinkle screen in them. I called Magna Flow and they said the items 624-11378 are suppose to be crinkled on the screens. This is to make sure they flow the best. So we have determined the mufflers you received are not defective and are ok to use." As is obvious, this is total **** on Jegs part, and if Magnaflow agreed that this is normal, so are they. I'm embarrassed as an American that an American business would try to pull this poop on an overseas sale. Jegs is off the good list and on the Full of **** List. Caveat Emptor. What a bunch of sheit. Who tries to pull that kind of crap? Obviously, JEGS does. And magnaflop too. Don't put up with that kind of poor service and craftsmanship. That's what you expect when you order a $19.95 "stainless steel performance muffler" from Xangdong out of JC Whitney no fitney. Sheesh, take a little pride in your product and your service. Totally pathetic.
Pretty amazing that a company would risk getting a dent in their reputation over a pair of crappy mufflers.
It may actually be on purpose....it will be quiter like that then it would if it was straight. So it's either they made a bunch of cr*p by accident and they want to sell it or they build cr*p on purpose, either way they are selling cr*p it appears.
me too. two Magnaflows on 2 different Ferrari 308's , and they did not look like that. both sound great too. my muffler shop ordered the muffler so maybe its a Jegs supply issue, and they have a bunch to sell off. i would reverse the charge on the credit card and throw those mufflers in the trash.
Was thinking about this and we really need to bring Jegs into this to be fair. I just talked to the complaints manager at Jegs named Kelley and explained the situation to him. He will be logging into Ferrari Chat to look at the photos and make another assessment. He sounds like a decent guy and wants to do the right thing. Come on Jegs! You've never let me down before. Let's wait and see.

way to go, i too have used jegs, and have always been happy. but i keep seeing a general lack of customer service from business in general. this i dont understand as i have choices where to spend my money. i am not saying the customer is always right, as i know businesses need to make a profit to stay in business. but it would be nice to know if these are supposed to look like this. my two magnaflows did not look like this inside. Jegs did well. They are now refunding Olivier's hard earned money for the crappy mufflers I have used Jegs often in the past and I was hopeful they would come through, and they did. Case closed.
thank You Russ and thank You all of You. I think US shops and jegs are not to be blamed. In the USA You have the chance of so much choice concerning car parts. It was just a non chance number. Anyway they give me money back.
