    do those filters suck air from directly above the muffler? that can't be good for performance....

    I was thinking similar, not for performance, but sucking up the heated air from that area of the engine.

    That thing is the worst thing one can do for an intake ........ as was already mentioned sucking hot air is terrible for the motor :(.

    Just buy an F355 ...... so we can be friends :)!!!

    I wasn't going to get it (don't have a car to put it in). I just thought it looked neat.



    What about a Nero 348???

    IMO, that intake system is half done. They need to enclose those filters in an insulated box then attach them to the fresh air hoses coming off the quarter decks. Putting the air filters above the cats seems a bit whack to me.

    Aside from performance which I'm sure is worse with this setup, I think it looks unfinished. But even the stock 348 intake is not the cleanest thing I've seen.

    I wouldn't install those, are they sucking hot air from the the exhaust?
