I am a little saddened as I do not have La Bella in my garage to look at. :( I just dropped her off for a 30k service with new cats and headers. It's 75 degrees and sunny (I live in Oregon so that's, like, summer! LoL) and I don't have my baby! :(

I'm just trying to think about how happy I will be when I pick her up and she is new again! :D

I have until next week to decide if i am doing the Fabspeed headers or having QV or JP (both in London) rebuild them. I have spent hours reading posts on here and I still can't decide! Any last opinions from some of you guys who work on these cars???

I presume that will be at Ron Tonkin's? If so, send my regards to Kelly Brown and his crew, he may not remember me but I bought the yellow 348 speciale series from them this past October.

Actually I did not choose RTGT for my service.

May I ask why, or should I ask in in a PM?

Well, to be honest, it was based on price. Just like a BMW or Honda dealership, they will always charge you a premium. Now, if I have a problem with the convertible top or the F1 transmission I have to go to the dealer because their SD computer can diagnose problems related to those things. But for simple maintenance and minor problems there are competent shops/other exotic dealers in the Portland area to work on 355s. The difference in price was over $2500 and the person doing my 30k was factory trained on the 355s when he worked for a Ferrari dealer for 13 years. He is also an enthusiast as he owns a Ferrari himself. Thus, I feel comfortable leaving my 355 in his hands.

However, I can attest to the nice demeanor presented within their service department as I had to go there once for a code on my CEL. They hooked their SD computer up to my car but could not locate a problem and therefore didn't even charge me the minimum .5 hour labor rate. So, as much as I HOPE my 355 doesn't break down, I do know that I will be treated fairly if I do have to visit RTGT's service department.
