Saw this in London the other day, thought it was a 250 GT California, then noticed the lights... what is it?

Plate is 389 DAS... guessing its the engine size. then initials of owner?

Edit: just saw some pics of a SWB GT? With the same kind of lights. but can seem to find this one on any registries

A friend has just sent me this picture which illustrates the program for the historic GP 2009

This photo was taken in Pau, in "Virage de la Gare" before the rise to "Pont Oscar" aka Boulevard Napoleon Bonaparte below "Boulevard de Pyrénées" in the 50's

    What is this car ? Ferrari 225 S berlinetta ? Others ?

Thank you very much at all.

It certainly appears to be a Fiat Ottovu Zagato (8VZ).

This is indeed a Fiat 8V Zagato #000069 1st in GT class till 2600 cc at the 3 hrs of Pau which was held from 6-7 April 1958 and was driven by Giancarlo Sala.

    Thank you both.

I am sorry for not having responded sooner.

With the book "Le GP de Pau 1899-1960" - Jean-Pierre DARMENDRAIL 1992 - I recognized in 1958 (through publicities ESSO, BP Energol and Veedol) and infer that it was "3 hours Pau".
By against I was not aware of the picture n°1 page 179, in which the author writes: "... Fiat 8V Zagato (No. 48) ..." Shame on me, because some results here -> WSRP Martin Krejci -> 1958 -> Non Championship Races -> Coupe International de Vitesse - 3 Heures de Pau Date: 7.4.1958 -> 1st -> Giancarlo Sala (I) Fiat 8V Zagato (without number).

    Thanks,

    Best regards

Wouldn't it be fair to give a credit ?

Tony Adriaensen's "Fiat Otto Vu" vol. 1, page 562.

Of course you are right, the 8V bible has all the information.
