I have a Stradale and I pulled off a factory safety sticker in front of the passanger seat that was on the leather. It left behind the glue and none of the leather cleaners do anything to get if off - any ideas?

    Thanks

I have used mineral spirits to remove gunk from leather. I use a tiny bit on a microfiber towel (just enough to do the job, don't flood it) and rub gently. I have not seen any ill effects, but if you're going to try it I would test an inconspicuous spot of leather first. If the adhesive's difficult coming off, sometimes it helps to hold the towel on the spot for a few seconds before wiping. Also, I normally use a bit of leather conditioner afterward.

I would not repeatedly use mineral spirits to clean leather, however. I have only used it as a last resort to spot clean an area when traditional cleaners would not work (as in your situation).

    Good luck.

P.S. - in the future, if you first warm the decal slightly with a hair dryer (try the low heat setting), sometimes less adhesive will remain on the surface.

goo gone. WD-40 would work, but may be a bit rough on the leather. You might also try silicone spray. Goo Gone would be my first choice I think. Then follow it up with some leather cleaner and leather cream.

A little bit of 100% citrus oil will do the trick.
