Very neat looking-- and I bet it drives like a go-kart!

I see it has historic plates-- is the title based off the year of the motor or something?

Yes it will be most likely. The way it works is that there is an "Assigned" title for the year 1955 and ergo you can use a plate of that year and/or get historic plates. Either way it's rear only and a one time charge forever.

By the way, the price goes up fast from there.

In all fairness to the post, I did in fact edit out the 'how does one get Vintage plates' part as I
then found the host Beck car site.

So where does it top out - REASONABLY speaking? I've seen such repros around town before,
and never thought I could afford one.... $30k seems a VERY nice price to get in here. But you
say it goes up 'fast' - to what level for the level you have?

And will you have this at the next C&C and let fellow F-chatters give her a drive?

BTW, Michael, why do you not have a 3x8 in your substantial arsenal? I thought about you
yesterday - screaming through the gears on Hwy 16 up the peninsula, thinking about your
CGT, and thinking 'Michael, you should be HERE right now driving THIS!!".... so what gives?

Beck says it starts floating at 135mph. Frankly I never intend to find out. As to the second question, high 40s low 50s. Find one used. Q. 3 and 4 yes and yes within reason.

I do not remotely fit into any 3X8 cars, otherwise I would have had one a long time ago. :)

    very nice, Michael! enjopy!!!

Was great fun trying, and failing, to pull away from Mark in his little roller skate the other day. And no problem with head room here!

Does this mean there's a pool house in Christie's near future?

    NO NO NO

She has already called me and requested the builder name of my pool....specificaly the placement of the water sealed "Pole" in the center

    For exercise purposes of COURSE!!

Oh and yes, I do provide Aquitic "pole" lessons most every night....but due to insurance requirments it is only open to Female particapants, with a correctly "licensed" professional instructer...I know of only one holding the correct "Elf License" in the NW....ME

And due to the current economic turn down...payment for these "trainig" classes is defeered...till when ever you can pay me....

Now taking applications for next months training sessions!! LOL LOL

Congratulations Mike. She's definitely a looker and from my experience driving Mark's spyder, really fun to drive around town. Are the seats also "fixed" in this version too? If you're not tall enough, then you're definitely screwed otherwise. :D

Indeed. I was just thinking to myself "Surely, the garage HAS to be full by now!!". This is proof that "cars fill the allocated space available" ...

Oh and we need more distinction on the thread-title, something like "Here we go again #6" or "Here we go again (Porsche Replica)" because it's hard keeping track of all your "just added another car" thread ;-)

I almost said the same thing Paul. I nearly didn't click on the thread because I thought it was an old one from one of the many previous cars!! Too funny!
