Does anyone know a source for a standard set of 14" 308 wheels? We have a set of original 390 metrics we would sell in order to offset this cost. We need to source the other wheels first.

Thank for any help guys and gals.

I just sold mine to fellow in Australia who is paying more for freight than the wheels cost. Just keep asking...there are plenty like myself who has gone to 16" and 14"s are sitting around. But unless you are going to concours the car, with all the negatives, why stay with 14"?

Check e-bay - I see 14" there pretty frequently and at decent prices as well.

I wouldn't plan on getting much for the 390s....a lot of those wheels sitting in landfills or being used as hose reels.

Incidentally, I just put original ferrari 14 inch wheels on my 308 in place of the 390s (anyone need four new hose reels?) along with the original spec 70 series rubber (Pirelli 4000) and they're great. They look right/original on the car and ride very, very comfortably on the street. I have some QV 16s but I think I'll sell those as they're harder riding with the spec 55/50 series rubber.

One minor note on the 14s, they're magnesium so not the easiest wheel to refinish. If you do buy some 14s that need to be refinished then be prepared to do it right considering the physical properties and factory coatings of the 14s.

I have a set of 5 I can no longer use (still have tires on them). Plus wife is tired of all my garage art as she calls it. Send me a PM and I'll take some pics. Not even sure what their worth. Ill try and get some pics tomorrow.

    Thanks guys.

I found a set of 16" wheels but I am waiting to find out who the manufacturer is. I have copied the PM's I received from some of you to my tech. If our client isn't happy with 16's, then it will fall back to the kind offers form f-chat!

    Cheers!!
