A few of my friends are ex-heroin users. I have heard them say nothing is better. One described using as creating a perfect world.
Bad thing is that even now that they are clean, it is the first place they want to go when life goes bad.

Sorry nothing is better than sex. Sex is highly under rated in our society.

Isn't it funny that the pleasure of sex is nothing more than nature's trick to insure survival of the species?

A perfect example of the end result of eons of (self) selected breeding.

+1 , except I DID watch the ep with them betting on who would, ahem, break their 'self-indulgence' streak....THAT was a funny one....have to admit.

Another related eposide was where Elaine and George both abstain and their personalities diverge in opposite ways. George becomes an intellectual while Elaine becomes so stupid she is mezmerized by a spinning tire display.

I always time mine when I know they're gonna be a long one. Heck, did a 1 minute, 33 seconder just this morning.

My personal record? 2 minutes, 12 seconds. I never EVER want to hold it that long again, but I had no choice. My internals hurt for the rest of the night, not even kidding.

Anyway, to stay on topic...I'm a virgin so I guess I'll have to get back with you all on that one...

(Laugh if you want, but it's by choice :p)

I'm also into the making things concept.

Sex is overrated, but wonderful but too many let in run their lives ... they should get out and see the world or make something with their hands, etc.

I've been there, twice! Not a pleasant feeling. Never went to the ER for a fix, only my urologist. First time was scar tissue after prostate surgery, second time an undiscovered kidney stone. Relief IS better than sex!!

Driving a proper Formula or sports proto race car at the limit. One lap done right-with everything on the edge is about as good an experience as I have ever had. Doing a whole race right and winning is the best experience I have ever had. (even over the two strippers at once my buddies bought me for my 25th birthday!)

Watching the main gun firing in the M1 Abrams tank, whether I was the gunner or the loader. I really did love that machine and I worked at being the best I could be. I was a badass loader and gunner...and driver too. As a loader; getting all the steps into one fluid motion. Hold on to the arming handle. As soon as it fires, slam it down to "safe" while at the same time, hitting the knee switch to open the ammo door. Smack that little retainer that holds the round in place and pull the round out while supporting it, then slam it into the breach and arm the gun while screaming "UP!!!" to let the gunner know the gun is armed. I could load so fast that I would wait for the gunner to fire, rather than the gunner waiting for me to load. A Range Safety Officer once accused me of "lap loading" (holding a live round in my lap to cut down on the number of steps in reloading).

As a gunner, doing a complete, by-the-book boresight before going onto the range. I was a good shot. I once fired the main gun when I should have selected machinegun. I hit a troop target in the chin at 1100 meters.

As a driver, I could pull up to a berm, let the gunner fire, and begin backing up before our wingman had fired. All about minimizing exposure time. My pulse quickens just talking about it.
