    This is a gorgeous Ferrari.

It seriously saddens me that someone would buy it and only drive it 185 miles in 18 years. Can anyone please tell me why someone would do that? Now, a multi-million dollar irreplaceable classic I could understand.....but a simple 348? :(

Someone thought it was an investment car.

Looks like it lost about $30K in absolute value, plus inflation, plus service costs. Winner...

That is an absolute beauty, and I agree with everyone about the low mileage - WHAT A SHAME!

Ferrari's were made to be driven, not parked.

exactly.. Doesnt matter about the mileage..
Its not a collectible ferrari , never will be unfortunatly.
Its a nice example, but Id rather have a 60,000 mile 355 GTB .

There was a Ts with that same red interior for sale 2 years ago... Owner claimed it was previously owned by Barry Larkin of Cinncinati Reds. I thought it was a custom interior...but 2 of them...

Personnally I'm not crazy about the red leather.

The article you posted about the car wasn't exactly a puff-piece. You're very fortunate you sold so quickly and presumably for a decent profit.

Congrats to you and the new owner.

You are correct, and it was actually up for sale again this past August, in Dallas Texas, advertised as a "celebrity owned vehicle". I have the service records for that car, 28 pages worth.

It wasn't meant to be puff. Just a little documentation of this particular car. I don't think I'm fortunate at all. The new owner was personally contacted about the car by a friend at Ferrari. You have to know where your buyers are for cars like this. There is a reason SCC sells 200 cars per year. :)
