I've never sat or rode in a F-car but about 2 months ago I got a ride in a fantastic Porsche 997 Carrera S and it was the best time of my life. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Great topic! I can honestly say that everday I think how that today will be another step along the path of owning a Ferrari of my own. I have been very lucky enough to experience many Ferraris thanks to a friend and mentor., every weekend I get up at 7am and drive over and wash and clean my friends 599, I care for the car like its my own. Have spent a lot of time in the passenger seat, some epic drives and some fantastic memories. Of late I have had to move it to wash it and the feeling of sitting there, the prancing horse looking back at me, thumbing that started button and hearing that V12, its instant goosebumps and a reminder to never give up owining one....
The first Ferrari was a grey 550 Maranello in Spain. I was 18 years old at the time (6 years ago). Next Ferrari I sat in was a F40 about a week ago. I'm saving up money to buy a Ferrari and I hope to own a F40 one day.
I absolutely love it when people are interested in the cars for the right reasons, and have let lots of clients and friends have rides in mine. I had my first Ferrari at 34, after a succession of other cars leading up to the F-cars, but wanted one since I was a mere child, and am now on my 7th (I love cars and change em regularly). I have done weddings - grooms and/or brides fathers to the church, 18th birthday surprises (but they have to be female and blonde!!), 21st birthdays (same rules) and various 'let me arrive there in it, they will die' moments such as reunions and the like. The look on peoples faces both before and after are priceless and make it worthwhile
