If it's a repost my bad to the esteemed members on here ..... ;)

This is ridiculous how cheap they are getting, soon we will see these cars parked everywhere with Street Vendors adding a Ford Mustang Cavallino in front or putting Astro Turf in the interior ..........

Sorry this thread is counterpart to night life's 355 thread :p .............. so now every-one's 348 is worth no more than $29k no matter the health of the drive-train, how clean, or well cared for your example is .......... :D

what the heck is going on....sub $30,000 for a 348, as well as the ridiculously low price of the 355 that NightLife posted? woe is us :(

If that is the car I am thinking of----I know why it is priced so low--Needs about 20K to make it right......

Exactly the point Robbie :)!! ........... the majority of all cars have come down in price .......... but these 'super low examples' do not set the standard for values .............

" I am selling today because frankly I am 6'3" tall weight 335 LBS and age 70"

I'm sorry, but at 335#, he would never have fit in a 348 to buy in the first place....

I know a 348 owner who is about that tall, maybe taller...
and although I dont think he considers it roomy, he fits in it...

The buyer of my car is abouit 6'2", he fits okay as long as the targa top is not being stored behind the seat.
335 pounds, that would be a tight fit for sure!

Looks like a good deal to me.
You could probably drive on that engine for years as daily. 16% leakdown in #5 sux for racing, but most owners would never feel it (and hey, if you get lucky it will just be carbon buildup that a nice italian tuneup will remedy on the fly!).

No there isn't. I have seen a number of 308's selling for 19-21k. Anyone think they are ready to drive? Guess again.

I am 6'2 and fit in my 348 just fine. I do have the Carbon Fiber seats though so that may help.

I called this gentleman. He is a dealer and has many, many other cars as well. He just aquired the car according to carfax.

Instead of worrying about what your cars are worth, how about driving them and just owning them instead?

Do it for a few years, completely forget about resale, and then by the time you think about it again, the economy made well have recovered and your cars will be worth more.

The cheaper 348s get, the less I would consider selling mine. Just completed the major a few months ago... where else could I get the next few years of Ferrari fun for less?

I went and looked at this car and needing alot of work is an understatement!!. The story that I was told is this is the first Ferrari this guy has owned and he bought it sight unseen. I don't know how long he had it but when he sent the car to Compitizione to get the major done the owner was advised of what was needed to fix it he said that he would pick it back up and sell it on ebay.

Any idea on what was required to make it right? Granted you can't tell a book from it's cover and the e-bay photos aren't the greatest of quality, but that isn't exactly a horrible looking example (which is why I am assuning you looked at it).
