Murci windshield wiper arm replacement? For an '03 Murci, what are the chances Lambo sourced windshield wiper arm/assembly from some common car I could get it as a spare part? Just bought a car and it car came with this piece on the end broken and Lambo wants $1250 for the arm assembly. I don't think it's sourced from another car. I don't have a good solution for you but I wouldn't pay $1250. I'd make the part myself.
Yeah, I'd love to but I'm not set up for it just yet. I just looked it up and sure enough, they have the assembly for ~1200. From your pictures it looks like a cast steel or aluminum and unfortunately that's not easy to repair so you'd probably just have to replace that 2" part where the pivot (it looks like it pivots but I'm not sure) is and join it to the arm. Actually, it doesn't look too hard. Jeez, $1200.... and it's obviously a poorly cast part. Anyway, please take some more pictures and post. I'll try to look at one in person later this week.
