Looking for a NYC tailor with experience with military uniforms

    Yep,

    It's time for me to go pay the piper.

    So with that being said, I need to have some alterations done on some standard issue whites, working khakis, and dress blues. As such I was wondering if anybody had any experience or could recommend a Manhattan tailor who can do some good work quickly (preferably with experience with Navy O uniforms)? I have to report 11 July.

    Not even CLOSE to you, but one of the best and most famous is www.tacticaltailor.com in
    Lakewood, WA. The owner Logan Coffey tragically died in a 512M crash on April 20 of last year, but the
    company lives on. The owner was himself a long-time Army guy who modified uniforms
    for his fellow soldiers for years, then started a very successful business doing just that.

    If you end up with nothing where you are, you may wish to give them a call.

    I always take my uniforms to West Point for alterrations. At least you know that they are doing it to regulations. Plus the ride up there is beautiful

    Sorry I didnt get back to you sooner, but you have to drop off the clothes. They do not do alterations while you wait.
