I was preparing to install a new vinyl cover over the luggage compartment, and was fooling around positioning the carpet when suddenly found a metal plate with 4 bolts. It is to the left right next to the left rear warning light. I took the bolts out and what I saw were 2 rather heavy aluminum devices with heavy electrical wires attached. They are ribbed to act as heat sinks. I could not get enough slack in the wire to be able to see if there was any nomenclature printed on them. After giving it some thought, I was not able to figure out what they are. Being a good little novice, I put the bolts back in and took some photos. What in the world are they?

Yes it's your Digiplex box that are responsible for your Electronic ignitions,
    one for each bank.

    It's not a mystery:)

Thanks guys, I'm feeling less smart every day, or maybe just inexperienced.

Glad to hear it's not going to blow up.
