I do know the ext warr $$ ... there are some wholesalers to buy the extended warranty as I was told the cheapest is a Ferrari dealer in Atlanta. Good to know your going to the 06 as I think there are some changes vs the 05.

Ferrari only sells warranty on a yearly basic. I paid less than 4K for the Power Cube coverage for my 06 612, I think. If you buy the car from a private party/independent dealer, in order for you to buy extended warranty from Ferrari, you have to pay extra for inspection cost at the authorized dealer, probably less than 1K.

Exactly. Have you ever seen the Priceline commercials you Nancy? :). Negotiate. LOL. Just having fun, don't take it personally.

Seriously though in this economy negotiate and have patience. Some think the economy is turning around (Green shoots). Don't buy the BS, this is just a breather for the next phase down. So if you don't get a good price wait a few months then try again.

1- i would not buy a 612 from a lame lease boiler room like goldman

2- 130 with no records and PPI at a dealer

there is little market for these cars.... take your time

Don't be so sure about that, my house just went up 3.5% in the last t60 days and car prices are starting to firm up again. :)

Exactly, same with my other house, up about 5% in the last 30 days, but well, since it was down about 30% since last year. Do not know about car prices, but my car, almost perfect condition, was priced among the lowest, or may I say, cheapest in the country, consigned to an authorized Ferrari dealer, still no takers.

Up here in the PNW my house only dropped 4%. :) Cars on the other hand took a nose dive. To me though, I know the are not good investments from that standpoint, rather I drive them and enjoy them. Expensive hobby if you will. :D None of our cars are garage Queens for any reason save the 550 Spyder. There I have no choice but to keep it in when it rains. :(

Bottom fishing for a Ferrari - IMO - comparable to buying reproduction artwork. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as the 612 is Ferrari's flagship car
No offense but I hold Ferrari's opinion just ever so slightly higher that take your time and try n steal it!

can anyone suggest a 612 for me to buy? i looked at 3 straitline has here in dallas, all 05's. should i get an 06?

drove this car today and almost bought it but discovered it had some small body work done about the size of my hand just behind the passenger side wheel on the bumper cover, just in front of the side marker light. the paint was perfect but you could see it had not been prepped properly. http://images.ecarlist.com/cgi-bin/viewall.pl?dir=995_344430 so i am now wondering what else i might have missed.
