Thanks very much for that but i think it still has the adverts in does it not?
Really? And you are happy with all the virus that site put on your PC? Warning to others. Do not run any executable from that site. You will get infected.
I too have been unable to watch the race due to a power failure that wiped out the DVR. Miraculously I have avoided the results and wonder if anyone can point to a Web link or recording of the race prior to the Wednesday SpeedTv reshow? Thanks much Matt
You can watch the exact BBC coverage from the BBC website: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/default.stm Paul
Thanks Paul. But the last time I tried to watch the online fees State side it wouldn't allow me. I try again anyway though. They are going to replay the race here at noon on FOX and I really don't like watching delayed broadcasts of the race because they always leave out the drivers inter views after the race. Like I said I'll give it a shot.
So I've gone through a few of the links in this thread that were posted months ago, and a few of them don't work anymore. Which site are you guys using for the race in the morning?
Only if you live in the UK or have an UK IP(proxy/vpn etc) can you watch from that site, the rest of the world will be blocked....
http://www.p2p4u.net/ this site worked for me this race. Looks like they changed things up from last year. Hopefully they are still around next race The justin.TV links were getting deleted mid race
This is what I used (as fwd'd to me by a friend last nite)... There are various British, foreign, sports, movie/film, music, lifestyle, adult, and special interest channels on there (some of them HD even). BBC1 is what hosts/airs the F1 G.P.'s. YMMV. . . (P2P & web-streaming are just a pain-in-the-arse...)
I'll give it a go tho will have to wait till next race There will be always a need for web links for the F1 as not all fchatters use windows and sometimes if they are *cough* at work *cough* can't install software on their PC's.
FilmOn HDi Player is so far rock solid. Seems the list of channels is ever-changing, but main ones (BBC's, ITV's, Sky's, etc') are there for good. . . I'm in the loop w/ links for P2P (ie. SopCast, TVAnts, etc') & web-streaming, so I'll post whatever/whenever I come across it. No one will be w/o F1, my word!
Yeah, just gave it a goo! Seems to work well I'll see how it goes next race! Used sopcast/tvu/ants last year wasn't a fan so never looked for alternatives but it looks like things are getting better for us
Do any of these links do past F1 races from like now to 2-3 years ago? Because i made a thread about it awhile back but nobody replyed.
Nah, these sites are just streaming from TV stations and they rarely show full replays(besides a few days after) ever again. Currently the BBC iplayer lets you watch up to 1mth after the race. Some torrent sites specialise in motor racing and you might find full races there but again most people want latest races so you might struggle to find seeds for older stuff. If you just want "best of" reels for that season then you can buy DVD's. I have 1975, 1984, 2000, 2003 and 2004 seasons.
Whatever new links are found, seems it would be best if they are made known via a PM, and not so public. Thanks to SPEEDCORE for his continued assistence.
+1, Id like to thank SPEEDCORE for his RESISTANCE to the powers!! Fight the Power SPEEDCORE! You have made many weekends tolerable with your persistent assistance
If you're in the States like me, you may not know that BBC Sport coverage is light years better than Speed: The pre-race, driver segments, team interviews, news, punditry and of course the commercial-free racing with proper commentary is a revelation. Now, I don't advocate illegal downloading but... I download qualifying and race coverage via Vuze (torrents), then throw it up on the home theatre screen with an HDMI cable. The fact that FOM still doesn't offer it up for a fee is beyond me, but then they still don't film in HD either so go figure.
