Are theses cables able to be replaced with any type of cable or do they require OEM.Does the red boot off the original cables come off?Without looking at them closely it appears that the cables hav a red sheath over them.I would like to know if I can remove this sheath and bot and replace them with generic cables. Thanks

    Maurice,

I've replaced mine at home with Magnecor Electrosports wire. They've also supplied the outer red silicone sheath. I've kept the spark plug hole covers, they were in good shape, but replaced the inner connectors, too.

I'm very happy with the result!

Thanks for the reply,so were the spark plug rubber boots easy to remove from the original leads?Do they just come out?I replaced the ones on the GT4 with ease but the boots are separate to the leads and can be bought separately as well.
