Well its a done deal. Taking possession of the 2000 Modena Coupe, 16k miles, Black/Black, F1, Monday. I got it for $80k (less $30k from my almost brand new Corvette trade-in. GM product, yes. I took it in the behind on that depreciation. Never again - I'm an import convert now. Well unless its a Ford GT, thats another story...)

Hard to believe in a few short days, I will own one of the best cars in the world... and I will have to send it to repainting for the rock chips so it will annoyingly be down another week, then at least I get to drive it around for a bit, and by 3 weeks, I can get it redetailed (the painter says wait 3 months to redetail after repainting but I can't wait that long), and then a clear bra.

    I'm in a good mood.

4 weeks is long enough to wait post paint for clear bra. Had the Modena done recently and MB 2yrs ago ,both post repainting front bumpers. Congrat on the Modena I'm sure it will bring pleasure.

Congratulations! Fantastic news. Please take it out and drive it often and thoroughly enjoy it. Don't worry about miles - take the enjoyment from it yourself, don't save it for the next owner. Sounds like a great color combination - please post some pictures when you take delivery.

Wholly cow. If that car is even somewhat nice, I would agree--360's are getting killed. ouch

I wouldn't even consider letting mine go for that, but mine's fully serviced too. Ugh.

the market is total crap for exotics.. gallardo's are selling for 80k (the same car last year would take 115k easy) db9's are selling in the 70's, 430's in the 120's(last summer no chance below 160)

the market and economic state is making exotic cars a very easy purchase about now..

    wow indeed..

that being said no way I am selling either :)

True that! Was floored when I saw a BD9 at a lot while visiting my parents a couple of weeks ago. They were asking 80k. The same car a year ago would have easily been 100k. Had to do a double take.
