did you see here in practice yesterday? Anthony had to pull her away from her leaning way into the cockpit - what a leech.

That's what I get for speaking before re-checking the data (especially on a Saturday morning!). It just seems that the only time Webber comes into the discussion he's about the achieve great success, but then doesn't due to somebody else's actions. Maybe he is just that unlucky, but he certainly does broadcast his displeasure very well.

Oh that is so hard to believe? There were weekends when RB had Schumi covered all weekend, and last time I checked Button wasn't in his league, so don't be so surprised that RB has Button covered this weekend...

Huh? Isn't Button allowed to have a bad day? You can't really ask him to perform 100% every time. Schumi too had some not-so-good races at the time he dominated...

F1 isn't easy! and, we know he was trying - He really wants to please his home fans [Of which there appeared to be more at quali than there are most other races btw]. No matter how hard you try there are times when you just don't get it right....

    No conspiracies here.

    Cheers,
    Ian

Not only is Button allowed to have a bad day, but his engineers may not have figured out the correct settings for his car for his style. Button has shown that he is more than capable. You know he wants to win his home GP.

And Rubens is excellent in his own right. No surprises or doom and gllom today for Brawn.

Interesting that Kaz went from a previous best 10th (at Monaco) to a 5th place all of a sudden ... in a Williams.

(This is only the second time all year he's made it into Q3, and the first time this year he's out-qualified Nico.)

Also interesting that the "selected quotes" on formula1.com is missing Red Bull and Ferrari.

If you read back on several posts over the past few weeks, there were a few people alluding to Button somehow "faltering" this weekend. They predicted it would happen at Silverstone. Just WAAAAYYYY to coincidental for my tastes.

My cynicism level has raised to an unhealthy level...I'd best abandon watching this race also (the last race I viewed was Monaco).

I think it was Isobel who said something like: "It's OK Frank, we don't need to weigh your car!"...... :D

No conspiracies here - JB's been faster than RB all season until now as well - The way it goes. [Part of why I love it of course!]

They're very often missing news stories - It does say "selected" after all.

    Cheers,
    Ian

Vettel's performance is unreal... any infos about their first pit stop laps?

It seems that the modified Red Bull is really the fastest car now. Unfortunately, the 30 point gap to Button will be hard to close if he doesn't DNF...

I think, no conspiracy. Rubens has always done well here. I remember back in 2003...one of his most impressive wins.
