anyone putting a Little Captain on her and getting wet tomorrow? - meeting at Starbucks and riding to the Concorso? or sleeping late and staying home?
I am doing a "no rain dance" for you guys, but the fact I am a horrible dancer might not result in the desired outcome. I'll hopefully see most of you there.
+1 on the radar. Encouraging is the operative word. I guess I'll shuffle up. Roof is on, towels at the ready. Any convoy from Gbury or just show up? Family bringing the Yukon with a canopy and a few chairs.
..................... you are the God Father of our weekly meets, I have to see you on your special day d;-)
(Im my best Marlon Brando) Lemme make you an offer you can not refuse. Ahhh...now I need a cigar. See yaz around 10:30 One more thing...Sundays and fathers day are not special days....They are Speciale days
Nice to see most of my friends today. Missed Joe, Joe , and Mike. Chris - I saw your car but didn't see you. Ashman - you should have have introduced yourself. SlickMurphy - now your going to have to make it some Sunday Mike Squared - Hope you find this thread and catch up with us. Another beautiful 348 will help offset those o-so-common 355's (waiting for the cheese coment from Jay)
Was great day at Concorso! As always was good to see everyone... And thank you fellas for making my mom feel welcome...she had an awesome time
I stood there for 25 minutes or so, watching each child exit from their respective car. Their smiles and the look of excitement/thrill on their faces was priceless. The cars were nice to see on fathers day, the smiles from those kids made my fathers day. To all the people involved with this selfless event, thank you. You guys make me proud to be a part of the Ferrari community. Best, David
I saw the iffy forecast and made the call to stay home and spend some quality time with my son. It looks like the weather held off for most of the day... glad to hear most folks ventured out and had a good day. My father is going to be up next weekend and the long range forecast is for nice weather, so hopefully the TR will be in Glastonbury with dad in tow to see some of the cars and meet some of you guys next Sunday.
Agreed, today was a great day at Concorso. Although today is Father's Day, it was very thoughtful of drjess to bring her mom along for everyone to meet. Mom is a very gracious lady and I enjoyed speaking with her.
I was going to ride in with my friend Tom, but the weather scared us off. Was able to enjoy it thru all of the great pix on the Hartford concorso thread. Thanx to Jay and others for posting them. See U Sunday.
Just a reminder. Anyone is welcome to come. You've all been so nice to welcome me to your Sunday gatherings. The least I can do is invite you all along to a nice drive on the back roads. If you do come and are looking for me, I'm in the spiffy black station wagon.
Eric I know the roads and would LOVE to join you. problem is, coming from the shore, its a bit to far for a simple day trip for me. Thanks for the offer. Anyone from the northern reaches...I highly recommend the trip. Magnificent country and some sweet roads.
Everyone OK...Some real bad storms gone through and I expect many cannot respond due to a lose of power. Can someone check out SBucks lot and the access streets. Are we OK for Sunday or should we be looking somewhere else?
Lane we did get hit pretty hard, I will do a drive by this afternoon. The Putnam bridge was littered with debris even at 1am last night, but crews were out cleaning it up. I am off to support the American Red Cross today on my way home I will check it out.
Lane we are clear, just drove by. A few mashed up leaves in the road, but the rest is cleared. See you guys in the am, weather looks decent.
