I need to replace my coolant.

How many gallons of coolant does the system require?

Where is the best place to drain the system completely?

    Thanks

If you disconnect the vertical aluminum riser piping at the front of the engine, most of it will hit the ground....

    That's Step #1 of changing the alternator....LOL!

Maybe others have a better way.

Take a look in the OM and I think it will take about 19 qts. What i did for future reference and changes is go under the car and take off the aluminum belly panel . You will see the main water line and tee'ed off of it is the 5/8" heater line. I cut this and added at tee fitting . When you do it the 1st time just remove the hose from the fitting and have a 5 gallon bucket available. There is also a petcock on the block below the right hand header closest to the rear of the car. This will drain the rest of the block. Have fun
