    just curious, if you don't mind, what the price was on the shocks and bushings. i have an 84 GTS as well and that will need that work.

    It was ~$2,000 for parts and labor. I had new tires mounted and balanced as well.

    That's a pretty clueless ferrari ebay posting. If, by some miracle of nature, you're a 308 owner and you're not familiar with the importance of timing belt service and when was the last major (kinda like the .00001% who have never used an airline seat belt and therefore actually do need to listen to the instructs on how to open the buckle....) then you're pretty clueless. Further confirmation is the "lube oil and filter are expensive" - nah, no, they're not. Timing belts and the 30K major service is expensive. Finally, four of the eight pictures are of the stereo.......hhhmmmmmmm......

    People know when they write a $5,000 check for a major service. It's not like "hhhmmm.......I think I wrote a $X,XXX.XX check for the belts but I just can't remember when that was......" BS.

    I'd tell him "take out that $5,000 stereo, drop the price by $5,000, then drop the price by another $5,000 because the belts haven't been done in the last 5+ years, THEN maybe we can talk"
