A little surprised that the college World Series hasn’t come up for discussion, with all the great baseball games played. There were good regional’s, super regional’s and for the final eight it shows you how far some of these programs have come. LSU has been impressive and won a tight one against Texas tonight. With that being said, I prefer college ball over pro ball. You don’t have the egos and it’s still played because the kids love the game. Hope the Tigers put Texas away tomorrow.

One thing that is hurting the CWS chatter is that both teams are from states right next to eachother.

You're saying if Cal. St. or UNC were in it we would have more chatter?

Probably. Then the interest would be spread throughout the country. Personally I wouldn't care about it if USC and Stanford were ranked 1 and 2 and playing for the Championship.

Poor hitting and pitching by Tiger gives Texas life.

Well, Coach Maineri showed he is a classy guy. He showed Texas's coach a great deal a respect, which is due because of his years coaching. Now that's out of the way LSU removed all doubt that they have the best program in college baseball. Geaux Tigers
