Great colour, nice interior, but all original it isn't with a crinkle-painted engine (no pics...) '83, is it a QV or a late delivered 2V? Were there seriously '83 cars delivered on 14" wheels?
should be TRX 390 mm metric wheels / tires. my car is also a euro blu GTB QV, blue and creama, and it had the trx wheels. i tossed them into a corner of the garage. really cool to see another euro QV gtb on the east coast, i wonder what his chassis number is? mine is 44297. i think mine is technically an 83, but it was titled as an 84, so i dont see the the point in worrying about it. euro cars do not have a data plate in the drivers door with a build month like the USA spec cars. i wish him well with the sale, i had lots of calls and trade offers on mine, but everyone wants to "steal" cars cheap right now.
In europe 16" rims were available at least with the introduction of the "i", perhaps earlier. I think most QV's were delivered like that? TRX rims make nice cofee tables at best. Incidentally, I quite like the gold coloured rims on the dark coloured car.
