    well i found some cars, but they were either overpriced or rotting pieces of crap.

    I still have two - a 68 and a 69. I have gone pretty over the top in restoring both, and in seriously uprating the engineering in one. Even so, I probably spend more on the F355's major service than what I could readily sell either of them for.

    Unlike with newer and more exotic cars, you can really have fun exploring and mastering the car's decent but forgiving performance limits, while still keeping reasonably legal. I would go as far as to suggest that all newbie sportscar drivers should start out with this class of car. Nowadays, I virtually never even think about needing to optimize use of the engine power-band and I can't think of any recent cars where one can play with the throttle to control cornering angle.

    Can't believe I missed this thread! Go get that B, great fun cars to work on. Here's my 62 I restored, even won a multi-marque show including Ferraris and Astons with it. :)

    If you do get one, and need some parts, I have another early B in storage that's really too far gone ot restore for parts, as well as two extra engines.
