    :) yeah I'm probably gonna end up there real soon here..... :) I suspect I may need a new radiator. At the very least it'll probably need to be recored.

    Where are you meeting and where are you going?

    Have you thought about cruising to Annapolis City Dock (Pussers at the Marriott Waterfront Hotel?)
    They will allow the exotics park right out front.

    Now there's an optimist, thinking about driving the entire Beltway at the speed limit. I've been stuck in horrific traffic jams at two in the morning on that blasted road! It is totally unpredictable, but the odds of having an unfettered run for the entire 65 (I think) miles are pretty slim, IMO. If the limit was 55 mph for the entire route (again, not sure), a trip around would take 1h8m. I did do a complete circuit of the Beltway in the late 1970s, in my original Ford GT40. Looking UP at the undersides of tractor trailers that felt like they were 12 inches away from me (right hand drive car) was pretty unsettling. That was my first and last time on 495 in the GT40.

    The meeting location is still TBD. It really depends on the ammount of cars we have. It will be in Darnestown for sure though.

    As for a time, we are confirmed for 10 am on the 5th.

    The drive should last around two hours and we will finish with a lunch at a local BBQ dive.

    Lash, give me a call to set up a route. I will send everyone a pm with more details as we get closer.

    I saw your car getting ready while mine was at Richards and Fernandos. Congratulations on the new house ! I have company in this weekend but I'll check back with you on Sat. have a great ride if I don't see you.

    BTW I have 4 VIP passes to Michael Jacksons 10th show in London that is not happening. Anybody want some very expensive ticket souvenirs ?

    AEG Live is offering a refund OR you can keep your tickets as MJ memorabilia. They think that the tix may be worth something over time. You know, the comeback concert that never was etc. and it saves them the money to refund.

    The VIP package included; Red carpet arrival at the 02 arena in London . Private pre-concert dinner and cocktails at the 02 with the VIP's, After-party with the dancers and rumored MJ attendance at private club and a goody bag to take home.

    It was a nice setup. I had 13th row center but I did fear that he might not pull it off due to health. But I never thought he would pass away. I sincerely hope he is at peace.


    On another note I hope to see you guys soon on a ride.
