How's my price? It's below Blue Book, but with a limited number of the Turbo S's out there I'm wondering? Great Car! Anyone picked up a 2010 Turbo S? I understand that 2006 and 2010 are the only years they have been made so far? http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/cto/1239420461.html Todd
I just drove a new turbo s and thought it was pretty good. The sticker was 157k, had the brake package. Ended up with the x-5 4.8...love it
Dupont has a real mix of prices from the low $40s to the high $80s. http://dupontregistry.com/autos/Search/DRauSearchResults.aspx?page=2&start=0&sorttype=0&makeid=60&catid=3&modelid=22&modelname=Cayenne&makename=Porsche
They were going to let it go for 135k. If I could drive it for 5 years and get 75k for it great I would have bought it but when I lloked at what the Turbo S was going for used compaired to what the X-5's were used I dropped the loot for the X-5. The X-5 is a great vehicle and I think the sticker was 76 and we got it for 60? Worse part, traded in a 5 year old S55 AMG that was 140k new, got 22k trade. OUCH!!
I put 86k miles on it. I think the payment was less than 2k permonth. There was a small payment I had to make for the difference between what I owed and what we got for trade. I can tell you this, at 86k miles that car was completely worn out to the fullest point. You would think a car it that price range would hold up a little better.
Saddest comment of all about the current state of MB. Hard to imagine the reputation they had in the 60's-80's for durability.
Yeah I agree. Worse yet is the AMG is suppose to be their flagship line. I had a 2000 S500 and that car was junk after 60k miles. Was a great color though, Horizon blue.
Wow. For those cars I think you're better off leasing. I bet you could have leased it for less than $2k/m, and gotten something newer after 2 or 3 years even.
Probably but I knew I was going to go way over on the miles and I needed to set the car up as a mobile office. I had planned on keeping the car longer than I did but it started to fall apart.
Thanks for the info on panoramic roof on those. To keep it offtopic, many many W220s had issues after 100-150k km (100k miles).
I looked at a new 2009 Turbo S at Fred Levy Porsche in MI last year. It was marked at $99k. I'd expect an '06 Turbo S with the panorama roof to go for about $60k.
several, the one for 157 was in Connecticut. If they still have it I bet they will take a lot less now if the post above is true about new 09's for 99k. I think the base on a Turbo S is 123k or somewhere around that. If you get one get one with the GTS seats. I Love those GTS seats. The GTS is a really nice SUV as well. It doesn't have the Lear jet take off that the Turbo S has but the GTS is no slouch.
Is it this one? http://fairfield.porschedealer.com/2009/Porsche/Cayenne+Turbo+S/Fairfield/CT/Lava+Grey+Metallic/grey/434233/info.php If so, 260 mile demo car, and you know those haven't been *****futting-to-starbucks-for-a-coffee miles either. I wouldn't bother personally...
Yep thats the one. It is exactly the same as the Turbo S in the brochure. There is also a black on black with GTS seats at the dealer in Rochester NY.
I thought you guys were full of crap on the MSRP for this thing so i went and optioned one out for the heck of it...almost $200k fully loaded ! You gotta be kidding me ?!?!?
