Dorito's Corn Tortilla chips are great for making nachos.

What works with Nacho Cheese Dorito's. If you have a toaster oven, put some kind of shredded cheese on it, and broil it until the edges of some of your chips turn black. So good.

    :D Nope Jedi, I don't smoke :)

    Is the brand Mission?

You may find this hard to believe, but Dorito's does NOT sell Corn Tortilla chips in Michigan! I have called Frito Lay countless times. For some odd reason, there is not one store in Michigan that sells Dorito's Corn Tortilla chips. What a bummer! :(

That stuff melted with a little bit of cream and some extra Rotel is pretty close to the queso you get in the mexican restaurants. The white queso beats the orange/yellow queso hands-down.

Queso Chihuahua is a type of now Mexican cheese that menonite farmers made/sold in Chihuahua hence the name.

I'm surprised nachos are regarded by some as Mexican. I love nachos but on this side of the border they are considered Texmex or an American interpretation! :)

Well, I should have rephrased that. They used to sell Dorito's Corn Tortilla Chips in Michigan. I think that was maybe 15+ years ago. It really is a bummer. I have not the slightest clue why? :( The worst part is that every time I travel to another state, I always fail to look for them! I have been dying to try them..

Lmao :) I wish it was as easy as that for remembering. I always say "Oh yeah, I'll grab a bag and try them next time I go down to California". Do I ever grab a bag? No! :)
