    I think $40K might just be enough to buy the front clip for the real F1, but not the F1/LM which is worth 3-4x the value of the standard version.

    also, does 1 brand make all these models? i've been collecting some models but always bought it from different source.

    There were 1/18 scale McLaren F1 models made in the late 90s by UT/Minichamps but they have all been discontinued and have appreciated as time has passed. I have just that one left - it's a mint and boxed GTR as showing on my website, let me know if you want it.

    Wow!! Thats fantastic to hear! Its a superb model. :):)

    I would *love* to step up to the plate Morry. But, I am getting married in November, buying a house soon after and thinking about adding another Ferrari to the stable after that. :D:D

    So unfortunately this model is not on my current "blow serious money list". :D:D
