I saw "Crash" again yesterday. It is one of the best movies of all time.
The movie has a great story, great intention and it is also very emotional.

    I like it.

With over 20,000 posts, and almost half a million views of this thread, I will venture to say most of the earlier posts of current movies in the theater are now available on DVD, and any movie someone is about to watch on DVD will be available in a different format by the time this post is the halfway point :)

Thank God for cars in a love story...It's the only thing that keeps my attention.

Gran Torino - if I could be 5% as cool as Clint Eastwood I'd be happy.

I finally got around to watching it this weekend and have to say I was disappointed. Maybe 6/10.

It wasn't that the subject matter was interesting (it was), it was that in some parts it was more Hollywood action than it should have been and that detracted from the inspirational intent of the story. In short, the movie didn't do the events justice rather than the events not being worthy of a good movie.

I saw "Tetro" this week (finally made its way to the flyover states). Very interesting, but in my opinion wayyyyyy overdone....would have been a better story with fewer plot twists and less Fellini-esque weirdness.

Can't wait to take the kids to see the Toy Story movies in 3D next week. They already have seen them at least two dozen times each and have all of the toys. I remember I saw the original 3x in the theater.

I just saw Transformers 2 on the airplane. I don't think it is possible to make a worse movie.

Do all kiddie movies have to have humping dogs, robots dry humping a girl's leg, boob shots, seduction scenes, robots with racial cliche' overtones, and bathroom humor?

I can't imagine how uncomfortable I would have been taking a 6 year old to see this piece of junk.

That plus you couldn't figure out who was who, what was happening, and why even they were battling -- and why they stopped aside from fact that the 1 hour 45 minutes ran out.

Oh, by the way, did the great pyraminds move of Giza about 500 miles to Jordan? Some one should lend Michael Bay a map. Then, they should teach him to read it... right after he learns to read a script.

He only cares about two things with maps: how they look in slow motion and blowing up. There is no other use for any other object.

Sat through Hannah Montana: The Movie tonight with my daughter who loved it. Disney does a good job with these movies by making them entertaining to their target audience but also with enough entertainment value for adults. For what it is intended to be it was good.

The Invention of Lying - ok concept comedy, some very clever scenes and dialogue. I'm not an atheist like Gervais, but he is not heavy handed about it and some of his attempts to explain things are funny (and reflect on deeper thoughts of spiritual concern rather than being flippant blasphemy).

If you like dry, ironic British humor it is great. Some fun cameos too.

Totally agree. Quite surprising in fact. Once in a while, Hollywood can actually be quite clever.

    Dont give credit to Hollywood.

Eastwood pushed that film through...'Hollywood' didnt want to make it.
