Lol. Another forum i go on does this. I have about 200 posts on it and i've been there longer than i've been on here. I would have 3000+ posts otherwise. I think its a good idea
Why does anyone even care how many post someone else may have? People should maintain their own lane, and not worry about other people.

I agree. Some of the most entertaining threads end up in OOT or "the lounge". I wish there was a way to measure the quality of posts instead of the quantity. Maybe there should be a contest for "post of the day" and each winner gets 10,000 posts added to their post count. That way, you'd know if someone had over 50,000 posts that they either were very clever or worked in a mine in Australia.
