    Is there a way to determin the factory options from the VIN for challenge suspension, cross drilled rotors, Scuderia shields etc?

    No...but some options were only available for certain years. Like a 95 car with a Challenge grill would be an addon--It was not available as a factory option until 1998.....Shields were the same avaialble in 1998 and 1999....

    In the real world, no. Hypothetically, the Ferrari factory keeps a paper file of every car ever built. If someone high up at the factory saw your VIN and wanted to know what options on your car were factory compared to whatever was added aftermarket (or removed), they could do it.
