Thanks! I found the colour in another thread in the meantime. Someone (very possibly you) sent me a pic of miles with his 308 a while back, and in the b&w pic it could have been either colour.
Interesting thread, I remember reading in Autoweek many years ago he bought the black Testarossa spider (R. Straman conversion?) that he wrecked into a camera truck while filming a Pepsi ad, makes me wonder what ever happened to the car. I'd think a person like him that spends a majority his life being driven around in limos & doped up on pain killers is not going to have phenomenal driving skills.
You all are forgetting the most incredible MJ Ferrari ever. A black on black Ferrari Testarossa Straman Convertible. That was an awesome car! Plus it was in a Pepsi commercial, but unlike Michael it's top did not catch on fire.
I already have the purple Boxer that Cher gave MJ. PLUS I've got the falsified documents to prove it!
How is it exactly that one drives around town completely unnoticed in a Ferrari Daytona...lol Just like Magnum, 6 foot plus, undercover in hawaii in a bright red 308. very incognito
Let's not be too critical of Bernie. After all, he hit upon the most secure retirement plan there is. Live high on other people's money until you are ready to retire. Then, get caught and spend the rest of your life in 'Club Fed.' He has raised the bar for how we measure successful sociopaths.
Not necessarily trying to keep this thread going. However, I was recently reminded by a friend that was in the industry, that years ago the Jacksons had quite the collection of cars that included several Ferraris. I was sent the attached photo and thought Id post. Believe the Daytona pictured actually belonged to Diana Ross who was also known to have a reasonably tasty collection that was very rarely seen. unfortunately that Daytona had its nose changed with paint bleached white...what a waste of a classic...but guess that fits somethings were better off let original
On the subject of Jacksons and Ferraris, here is a video that has two quick clips of a 400i convertible. It appears briefly at around 1:23 and 1:27. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P4DyuDvH5sE BTW, I dare anyone to find a more "'80s" video than this one!
