My 308 came with a zipper (for the trunkcomp) that didin't do the job well. The zipper split open most of the time just after the slider passed.

so I played with the idea of having the zipper replaced, as a completely new cover is expensive and not neccesary.
However just this week i got a tip: zlideon

This firm delivers a replacement slider that can easily (DYI) replace the worn out slider ( it always the slider that's worn out, seldom the zipper itself) Just remove to old one ( using some pliers) , put the new one in place, click, and the jobs done!

So i ordered two black ZLIDEON repalcements (Euro 15.00 for two inkl transport..)in size 5a and recieved them very quickly.
I put them on yesterday and the zipper works like a dream again.
    see zlideon.com for info

( i do not have any connection with this company or product, just passing on information)

Yep, me too. I changed the slider as my original one had a crack. I went to a local dry cleaning place and said I need a slider. The guy opens the box and I choose one that looked very very close to the one in my 308. As I'm holding it tightly in my hand - I go - how much? He looks at me and goes - $2!! What!!?? ha, ha. Don't remember, but I don't think I ended paying the whopping whole 2 bucks in the end.

Get a GT4!! Two lids in the back, one for the engine, one for the luggage.
