    Looks like the entries are down to 17 for the balance of the year. http://roadracingworld.com/news/

    I don't think that's enough to make sure that the series survives. It's much too costly now, over 5M per year per bike, not including drivers money.

    There would have been that many entries this season if Melandri had not had the privateer Kawasaki ride for this season develop.

    this has been a concern for several years but now i think it is more of a reality. art, several years ago you and i predicted these dire straits for the economy and were pounded for it. clearly a case of an instance we would have rather been wrong. it looks bad for wawhat is the best form of racing in the world!

    i hope motogp survives!!
